The ACCESS Project on Indonesia Pavilion COP 29 UNFCCC - Day 3

On Wednesday, November 13, 2024 the ACCESS Project highlighted in UNDP's presentation at the COP29 UNFCCC Baku Azerbaijan. In the session "Energy Transition: Innovations, Sustainability, Approaches, Strategic Efforts and Initiatives to Achieve Indonesia's Climate Goals", UNDP represented by Mr. Riad Meddeb explained the energy transition support and programs implemented including the challenges and context of JETP in its implementation.

The ACCESS project become an example of energy transition program that does not only focus on technical changes but also carries and is concerned with community capacity building. The ACCESS project contributes to the achievement of Indonesia's electrification ratio and renewable energy mix by utilizing the Sun as a clean energy source.

The ACCESS project considered not only in the national scope of Indonesia but also in the regional scope. This indicates that the ACCESS Project provides benefits and achieves goals that are in line with UNDP's vision of improving the quality of human life.
