"Stakeholder Collaboration in Establishing Village-Owned Enterprises (BUM Desa) & Village Economic Business Units" Book Launching

On Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at the Technical Working Meeting on Village Economic Development Planning and Investment, Disadvantaged Regions and Transmigration held by the Ministry of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions, and Transmigration of the Republic of Indonesia, specifically in the Directorate General of Village Economic Development and Investment, Disadvantaged Regions, and Transmigration, the ACCESS Project had the opportunity to officially launch a book that had been written and compiled by the ACCESS Project. This book is titled "Collaboration of Stakeholders in Establishing Village-Owned Enterprises (BUM Desa) & Village Economic Business Units." The official book launch was accompanied by the Director General Ir. Harlina Sulistyorini, M.Si and accompanied by the Director Dr. Ir. Widarjanto, M.M. from the Directorate of Economic Institutional Development and Investment

This book contains various real lessons from the implementation of the ACCESS Project that has been carried out in the village, especially those related to Village-Owned Enterprises and Village Electricity Management Business Units (UPLD). This book has 50 pages that describe the role of renewable energy in village development. There is also an explanation of the stages of preparing the community to be able to receive, utilize, and manage off-grid centralized PLTS. As well as the role of village facilitators and village community empowerment. The publication and launch of this book is intended so that in the future, similar projects can be carried out better and as learning capital. These books are also given to several ministries related to village development, especially the Ministry of Villages, Disadvantaged Regions and Transmigration
